Hello friends!
How’s your week going? Do you remember the One Room Challenge we completed a few weeks ago? For 6 weeks we shared our plan and progress on one of our bathrooms. Since then, I’ve been enjoying many of the other amazing room makeovers that took part in the same ORC. I wanted to feature some at our weekly link party last week but decided to dedicate a separate post to beautiful room makeovers… and I added a few others that are favorites of mine too! I hope you enjoy them…

On my Pinterest Bedroom Board I have soo much bedroom décor I like and this Master Bedroom Reveal from A Burst of Beautiful is pretty much my favorite! Complete with a panel wall, this bedroom is just gorgeous. I love all the white décor and it gives it such a clean, crisp feel. Make sure you check out their makeover and beautiful blog!

This Home Office Reveal from Around The Watts House is such an awesome example of how a room can be transformed. Iris shared before pictures of this space and it’s hard to believe it’s the same room! The DIY planked wall that she and her husband built is one of my favorite features! If I start listing everything else I love about this organized and pretty room, I might run our of room here. Go see for yourself… you won’t be disappointed!

I’m not sure where to start with this one. Pallet wall. Gorgeous light fixture. Crate nightstand. And more. This Rustic Boy’s Bedroom from Making It In The Mountains is a must-see! This girl has made me want to tackle a pallet wall in our own home now! Kristi has tutorials for many of projects you see so be sure to pop on over!

When it comes to girls’ bedrooms I love all things girly and pink! And this Girl’s Bedroom Makeover from Designed To Dwell is one of my favorite little girl’s rooms! Lots of inspiration for when I tackle our daughter’s room!

Every crafter’s dream. If you’ve never been to The Happy Housie’s blog, stop right now and pop on over. I’ll wait. I don’t know anyone else that can incorporate color into her décor like Krista can! I love turquoise but you definitely don’t see as much of it in our house as you see in her room! And check out her latest room makeover… her Craft Room Makeover! Beautifully organized and everything’s at your fingertips!

Closets. That’s a whole new topic for me. Our closets need some serious attention. I’ve begun going through our closets and filling bags for the thrift store. I’ve been going through all of our clothes and getting rid of what we don’t wear. If you haven’t worn it this season, away it goes! If you want to see a super organized closet, check out A Closet Makeover from Personally Andrea! I love how she labels stuff… no question where stuff should go!

Okay, this technically isn’t a “room” but if you know me, I love, love spending time on the deck of our home. So I think of the deck or porch as kind of a “room” to the home, know what I mean? When my friend Lauren from Blesser’ House shared her Freshened Up Spring Front Porch I thought it looked so beautiful and inviting! Wish I could sip an iced tea on that porch with her!

Last year I tackled our Master Bedroom in the ORC and I had such fun following Emily from Table and Hearth’s progress and reveal of her very own Master Bedroom Makeover. From the bedding she chose, to the bedside décor, everything ties in so beautifully!

And last, but totally not least of all, isn’t this Breakfast Room from Place of My Taste so colorful and pretty!? I love the color yellow but I’m totally not brave enough to decorate bigger items with it. Aniko has such a beautiful and unique style and I often find myself thinking how “happy” her makeovers make me feel!
If you’ve been thinking of tackling a room or even a closet or your deck, I hope these makeovers gave you some inspiration! Since beginning my blog and keeping track of makeovers and room revamps, I’ve definitely learned that nothing is impossible without some DIY, hard work and sweat! So get your hammer and saws out and pick up some spray paint and good luck!
Thanks so much for stopping by, friends! Enjoy your week!
-Kendra
