Hello Friends!
August is winding down and I’m beginning to think of fall! How’s the weather been in your corner of the world? We’ve had beautiful and pretty warm weather this week but last week there was definitely a hint of fall in the air!

So, this week I was thinking of fall décor and knew that we needed a new wreath for our front door. I’m so happy how it turned out!
Here’s what you’ll need:

You’ll also need a wreath of your choice, burlap, brown card stock paper, ribbon (or other material to make a bow) and a glue gun.
I started out by wrapping a foot long strip of burlap around my wreath. I love burlap and it seems fall-ish to I thought it would go perfect. I then ripped of some of the berry stems from the main one and just placed them where I thought they looked good.
I used cardstock to cut out 9 little triangles. I had picked up the chipboard alphabet stickers at Target a while back and they worked perfect for this little banner!
And now I’ll show you my secret little trick. The banner wouldn’t hang properly so while I was sitting and pondering how to make it hang nicely, my totally brilliant husband did this! Ta-da!! The weight of the little screws is just what the paper needed and now it hangs perfectly!

I had some of chiffon material left over from a different craft that I used to make my bow. You could use ribbon or whatever you have on hand that would go with your wreath.

Have you made any crafts or decor for fall yet? I think this will just be the beginning for me!
By the way, did you see The Great Crate Challenge I did yesterday? Nine fabulous bloggers and myself used a crate from Michaels and each came up with different ideas of what to do with it! Check out the amazing results here!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Until next time,
